Hi I'm Sean

I'm a Mormon, and have been my entire life. Me parents are both converts to the Church. I am married with 6 wonderful children.

About Me

Hello, I am a Dad of 6 wonderful children and am married to the love of my life. I own and operate a custom cabinet shop, and build cabinets for homes and businesses. I enjoy vacationing with the family at the lake each year, boating and camping, and just getting away for long weekends. Our oldest son Just left on a mission for our Church, and we are very excited to hear about his experiences. I have an old 1966 Porsche that I am restoring with my boys, and cant' wait to drive it around on the weekends. I enjoy life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church. My Mom was baptized when she was nine years old, and my Dad was baptized after they were married. My Mom's family was looking for a Church to go to right after world war 2. They visited and loved it. My Dad married my Mom, and started learning about this Church. After 5 years of marriage he joined. Even though I was raised in the Church, I eventually found that I had a very strong testimony of the truthfulness of what is taught and what we believe in. For instance, I know we have a loving Heavenly Father who hears and answers prayers. I know that Jesus Christ is our savior and through him and the atonement I can return and live with Him and our Heavenly Father. I know that the gospel is on the earth today, and that we have a living prophet. I am grateful to know these things, and this is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Every day I pray to our Heavenly Father for guidance and protection, and for help in our goings on. I live each day by striving to be obedient to the commandments we have been given through prophets, including our current prophet. I try and teach our children to live this same way. I think it is so important to live what I believe. I know that I am blessed every day as I live my Faith. We go to Church every Sunday, but we are involved on a daily basis with other Church activities, or visits, or other events. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve others that we attend Church with. Service is a great blessing in and of itself, and I know it blesses the lives of those you serve.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes we are and yes I am. I believe int the Savior Jesus Christ, and the he is the only way to return to our Heavenly Father. We are taught this in the scriptures often, that he is the way. I am grateful for the knowledge of him and the atoning sacrifice he offered me and my family and everyone. I am grateful for him as the Christ, he is the head of our Church, and the center of our faith. Show more Show less
