Hi I'm Michele

I grew up in Texas. I have degrees in chemistry and business. I'm the mom of four wonderful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I earned a degree in chemistry and physics from Brigham Young University. I also received an MBA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Texas. I now use those skills to manage a household and teach my four children. I love to cook and create beauty in my home, despite the clutter. I'm constantly on the lookout for new experiences that I can share with my children to broaden their worldview.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints the year before I was born, after much study and prayer. We were sealed as a family when I was just a few months old. The knowledge that we can be together as a family forever is an important part of my testimony of the gospel. I am comforted by this knowledge as I now teach my children how they can make good choices in their lives, providing them with a compass to guide them through the storms of the world. My testimony of the mission of Jesus Christ and the plan that he fulfilled that has helped me, personally, through the trials and challenges I have faced in my life. I know he is there for me - truly the rock on which I can stand firm.

How I live my faith

I work as a community liaison for the women in our church. I research service opportunities in the community and pass that information along to encourage others to reach out and serve where they live. I also serve as a visiting teacher, ministering to several sisters and serving them as much as I can.
