Hi I'm Bill

I am a husband, I am a father to four kids, and a Grandpa to 10 and one on the way! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived 60 years in a small mountain town in Colorado. I have found the mountains a great place to raise my family. I love to snowmobile, ride my bicycle, look for moose, travel, spend time with family and friends, read, and watch Fox news!!! I love my country and I am a Patriot! I am an electrical contractor and have been since childhood. I feel so blessed to have four children who have picked amazing spouses and all of my grand-kids. I mostly feel blessed to have had an amazing wife of 39 years. I enjoy driving, hiking, and biking everyday in the mountains of Colorado! I feel America is the greatest country on earth!!

Why I am a Mormon

About 37 years ago I was blessed to have young Mormon missionaries stop at my home. At first I wasn't that excited about the prospect of Mormonism as I didn't understand or know what it was. I had a lot of the same feelings that I know some of my friends have now of not understanding and believing that we are different in some ways or maybe even odd. But as the missionaries taught me I began to understand what they were teaching me was the truth. Many of the people I respected in our small town were Mormons also but I didn't know that until the first time I went to church. All of my fears were dispelled that first Sunday. I had an opportunity to pray about the Book of Mormon and the truthfulness thereof. As far as decisions in my life it has had the most effect on my life and happiness! I am always amazed at the quality of people that I have the opportunity to know in the Church. It is the best way to live your life, and raise your children. I know, as I have been on both sides. I also know and love Jesus Christ I also know my Heavenly Father knows me by name and loves me as His own! I hope someday to be worthy of their presence.

How I live my faith

I live my religion by trying to love everyone I meet. No matter their circumstances or their religious beliefs. I try to follow the example of the Savior. I have an opportunity to serve in my calling, which is to speak to different congregations once a month and I enjoy this time and the love I share with them. I try to study the doctrine of my church everyday and have most days of my 37 years as a member. I treat my family in the most loving way I know how. I know I make mistakes but that doesn't lessen my love for them and I have the opportunity to repent daily. I try to attend Church every Sunday whether I am home or not. I love the thought of no matter where in the world I go I will have a friend who shares my beliefs and love of Our Savior. I love the many opportunities I have to talk and share my faith and my belief in the Savior, Jesus Christ.
