Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happily married father of two wonderful girls. I am an active person who likes to compete in various sports and an avid outdoorsman. I enjoy being an assistant scout master, which is something I never for a moment thought I would be interested in, and I love being able to help my community on a one by one basis.

Why I am a Mormon

If you are reading this I want you to know that I have always believed that there was God and that Jesus was sent here to die for our sin. Having said that, I also have to tell you that even though I "believed" I never really KNEW my Heavenly Father, or my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With all of the different denominations having this belief or that belief, I didn't have a clear view of the road that was before me. I attended many different services and felt The Spirit strongly in all of these denominations at one time or another testifying to me of the Truth and Divinity of The Savoir Jesus' Atoning Sacrifice for us. But something was always missing. Finally one day I did the only thing that I hadn't tried to find out what Church I should follow..... I prayed. I asked my Heavenly Father to show me "The Truth" (as I put it in my prayer). About two weeks later I was working in a vacant apartment, preparing it for rent, when the doorbell rang. Coming down from the third floor I thought "who rings the doorbell on an obviously empty apartment?" and when I opened the door there stood three Mormon Missionaries asking me if I would like to talk to them about The Savior. Fast forward several years....... I now KNOW my Heavenly Father, I KNOW my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and The Spirit (The Holy Ghost) that was always tesifying to me of The Savior has testified to me of the restoration of The Lord's Church............here on the earth. What a wonderful thing it is to KNOW that my Savior lives! And that He knows me and loves me......and always has, even when I really didn't know Him. I love The Savior, and I love our Heavenly Father, and I know that by living The Gospel, following His example, I can return to live with him someday and be with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I Live my Faith by helping the young men in our ward to build a relationship with our Heavenly Father. While the young men increase in faith, they also learn what it means to show respect, have personal accountabilty, serve their fellow man, support and accept others in need, and to "be an example of the believers". I also live my faith by being kind to those I come in contact with; co-workers, friends, family, people that I see in need of help that I don't know yet, and people who have questions about The Gospel. By being kind, those around us can see the faith that we have. They can see that we have love for all our brothers and sisters.
