Hi I'm Ben

I'm from a small town in Michigan, I love living life, I enjoy dunking on people and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Michigan. I'm on a mission right now in the Tucson, Az area. I love having fun and hang out with friends. I love playing basketball, and working out.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A lot of people think that if you are raised Mormon than you serve a mission because your forced to or because your Parents make you. That's not the case with me. I actually, didn't plan on serving a mission or even continue to be a Mormon after I moved away. But, Luckily I have a family who loves me. A certain family member was a great example to me, and gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon. He served a mission and recently returned home. He and His father both challenged me to read the Book of Mormon. I decided I need to find out for myself. It was the greatest decision I've ever made. The whole time I was reading it I felt an amazing peace and while I was reading it I was praying to see if it was true. Then, one Sunday while I was at church, there was a member who read a promise in the Book of Mormon. It's found at the end of the Book and says that if you read it and pray about it sincerely you'll receive an answer. Right then it clicked and this overwhelming feeling that I can't describe came over me. From then on I knew it was true. I knew that I needed to be an example for my brothers. (I say family and Brothers because that's what they mean to me) I also knew I needed to share this message with the rest of my family. So I know it's true, that's why I'm Mormon.

How I live my faith

I always try to be a good example to others. I think serving a mission is the best way to show my faith. There's no greater feeling than to share the Gospel with others. I like to try my best to be like the Savior. In doing that I often try to put myself in others shoes and see why they feel a certain way. I love my Brothers and Sisters.
