Hi I'm Kathy

I love to go to weddngs and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have four amazing children, two great son-in-laws and six handsome grandsons!! My favorite thing is to visit them at their homes as often as we can. I have so much fun with them no matter what we are doing, and I love when our grandsons tell us about their daily activities. Reading, walking outside early in the morning and working on home improvement projects are activities I enjoy. We have a garden and I love eating the produce from it but I'm really not a gardener at heart. Flower gardens are what I really appreciate and when we go on vacation I like to stroll through the gardens of the museum or park that we are visiting. I think flowers are some of God's most beautiful creations and marvel at how intricate they are.

Why I am a Mormon

When I heard the Joseph Smith story from the Missionaries as a teen, I knew then that the church was true and have had a testimony of the gospel ever since. It has brought joy and hope to my life each and every day. Now that our children are grown with children of their own I cannot imagine raising a family without the knowledge of the gospel and without the guidance of a living prophet in my life. It has given our family strength and guidance to navigate through life's tough challenges together.

How I live my faith

In our church we each have the opportunity to serve in a number of organizations. I have worked a lot with the teenage girls and adult women. Whether it is with children, youth or adults, it has been wonderful to serve with other members of my congregation and learn from them. My testimony is strengthened, I form new friendships and learn how to lead others. When I work in the church, I am with some of the most amazing people I could choose to be with. They are my good friends.
