Hi I'm casey coffey

im from Idaho. i grew up in the back of a pick up truck, on the back of horses, and in the mountians. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

hey i am a country boy from idaho. grew up in the back of a pick up truck and on the back of horses. on the weakends we go out and scout out for our hunts, find hot pools and old mines. we also go out and ride dirt bikes and take the truck out for a good spin in the mud ya budy... i worked construction for 4 years building houses, loved it, learned alot. im also a welder, built ski lifts for a year or so. got a big family. divorced and remaried parents. and between both sets i have 4 brothers and 4 sisters i am pretty much in the middle.

Why I am a Mormon

so i wasn't raised in religion. dad taught us that god and jesus christ was there but we were not tyied down to religion. we were still members of the LDS church but did not go, our church was the mountians. towards the middle of high school i became good freinds with a couple members of the church, they realy softened my heart to religion. along the path of life i moved to colorado for work. my mom lived there so i had a place to stay. it was there that my little brothers invited me to do something that has changed my life and touched my heart with the spirit. they told my to "shape up and be who god would have me be". i left them for the day and really pondered what i wanted and what god would have me be. at that time i recevied my own revelation threw the spirit that i needed to pursue this church with all energy of heart, truly trying to understand and live the way god would have me. its bean a ride to say the least. alot to learn in such a short time. alot of screw ups. alot of trials. alot of change in who i am. but the joy of knowing who i am and what god expects of me and acomplishing that, is the greatest joy i could have and only threw experiences can others truly understand it for themselves.

How I live my faith

the greastest thing about the gospel is you are who you are. your priorities change, but you are still you. right now i am serving a mission for the lord. so i am one of those in the white shirt and tie for two years knocking at your doors, and sitting in your house teaching you who we are and why and how you can know if what we share is true. one of the greatest things i have learned and how i live is gaining a love for all poeple and striving with all my heart to gelp them grow and learn, to ease burdens and trials. that is what i hope for to have the love of christ for all be shown and felt by others.
