Hi I'm Carrissa

I was born and raised in Colorado. I love to be active by working out, hiking, walking, etc and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like kickboxing, pilates, yoga, weights and anything that involves exercise. I went to school for skin care and received my paramedical esthetician license. I am very interested in nutrition and health in general. I hope to be a wife and a loving mother soon. I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 months and we are very much in love. I hope to marry him before the end of this year. Lastly, I especially enjoy spending time with my family, they're all my best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised, for the most part, in the church. During my teen years I fell away for some time, but was able to gain my faith back in the church just 2 years ago and have been actively living my life through the church and its standards. I found true happiness once coming back to the church and I will never turn the other way from what is right again. I love my heavenly father and Jesus and hope to be with them again some day.

How I live my faith

I have worked with the nursery and primary children teaching them lessons about the gospel each Sunday. I also like to participate in the food bank that the church makes donations to annually. Although I don't enjoy speaking publicly, I have also participated in giving talks to our congregation about different topics such as: obedience, faith & forgiveness. I find much joy in visiting with the women I've been assigned each month and look forward to a new calling sometime soon.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No not all members of the church are required to serve a mission. Only those who feel guided by the spirit to do so, but I do think it is important for eveyone, at some point in their life, to go on a mission to be able to expericence what it's like to be selfless. Show more Show less
