Hi I'm Jared

I'm an art director, theatre enthusiast, hard rock lover and family man. And I'm a mormon.

About Me

From my roots in rural Idaho to my design career in Seattle, I have always had a love for the arts. I have been involved in small musical performance groups, full-scale non-profit musical theatre, dance teams and I have explored every visual medium that has crossed my path. Dancing introduced me to my beautiful wife and we've just been blest with a beautiful boy that brightens our home.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been shown through a truly blest life that I am really being watched over. God has been kind and merciful to me. I know that my loving Heavenly Father has provided a plan for lasting happiness and that he has chosen living prophets in our day to help us avoid the pitfalls that could destroy us. Jesus Christ lives and has an active and ever-present role in guiding us and leading his church today. As we follow the counsel given by the Holy Ghost and the living prophets we can gain greater confidence in our Savior, his gospel and it's principles. I know that, as we do this, we can prepare to live forever with our Heavenly Father and our families.

How I live my faith

At church, I am responsible for helping minister to the needs of ward members through helping oversee the teaching of ward members, planning ward activities and teaching as appropriate. I help coordinate efforts to share the gospel with other ward organizations. I have helped in multi-faith community service to the elderly, the youth and the homeless as opportunities have arisen. I try to be a good neighbor and friend to anyone I can. As they say, service is it's own reward.
