Hi I'm Raimanutea Laughlin

I was born in Tahiti, French Polynesia. I speak French, English and Spanish. I am a missionary in Australia (Qld). I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a Christian home in Tahiti, a wonderful island in the south pacific ocean. I was brought up around music and dance. I love my native Tahitian culture. I studied at the Brigham Young University of Hawaii for a year where i also worked as a tour guide for the Polynesian Cultural Center. I also studied at the University of French Polynesia. I love to swim and to go to the beach. I am far away from my dear island for now. I am currently serving as a ful time Mormon missionary in Queensland, Australia.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Saviour of the World. He organized His Church when he was on the Earth. He called 12 of his faithful disciples who became His Apostles. After His crucifixion and the death of His apostles, the fulness of His gospel was lost and the Priesthood Authority given to the Apostles was also lost. Many churches were created by people with good intentions and desires but they didn't have the Priesthood of God. I believe that this Priesthood was given back to Joseph Smith and that God commanded him to restore the Church of Jesus Christ with the fulness of His gospel. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet called of God. God knew that a lot of people would need a sort of foundation to know that all of this is true. Therefore, He revealed to Joseph Smith what we call today "The Book of Mormon". I know that The Book of Mormon as well as the Bible is true. That is why i am a Mormon :)

How I live my faith

I am serving as a ful time missionary in Queensland, Australia. I love to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with every body that i meet everyday. I try my best to show a good example and to love others as Jesus Christ loves me.
