Hi I'm Clint

I'm an Engineer, a Father, a sports nut, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love spending time with my Family. Kids are a True blessing, Playing in the yard, joking around, wrestling on the floor etc. etc. Just love being a Dad in General. Also, LOVE Football and Hockey. Easier to watch it from the couch these days, but still love going to games once in a while. There is always an opportunity to Teach them the Gospel in some way every day. Its a tremendous power in our life

Why I am a Mormon

Because its True. I guess at the end of the day, that's what it is for me. The Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is absolutely True. I have been a member for 10 years now, Converted when I was in my late 20's. At a young age... I always felt like God was missing in my life. We as a family never really went to any church at all, but despite that I still had a strong feeling that I needed God in my life somehow, I just didn't know where to go with it. I did check out various Faiths at different times, and each one had its own positive pieces. Eventually I made friends who were Mormon, and their example drew me to the Latter-Day Saint (LDS) Church. Looking back at the time when I was checking into the LDS church, the Missionaries shared the account about the First Vision that Joseph Smith had. There really was something remarkable, and yet peaceful about it. As time went on and I continued to read the Holy Bible and Book of Mormon, I saw and felt how well they complemented each other. Praying to Heavenly Father to help understand my feelings was a great blessing at that time, and continues to be to this day. Eventually I took it all to him and asked if this Church was True, and here i am today with 10 years under my belt. At this point, I have had many varied callings throughout the years, volunteered for service in multiple ways, taught elderly, middle aged and Young kids, and have been in turn, taught by all of them. The Church is True. The Book of Mormon is True. God has always called Prophets to declare his word. He did it in Ancient times, and does it again today. I encourage anyone who reads this to please go ahead and check into the LDS Chruch. That you can know of yourself that it is true.

How I live my faith

To the best of my ability, I really try to follow the Teachings of Jesus Christ. His Perfect example helps me to find ways I can be a Better Husband to my wife, and a Better Father to my Kids. None of us are perfect, and that's OK. God strengthens us in more ways than we may immediately realize. I know that My sins can be forgiven, I can have peace through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and I can put a better foot forward each day. It really is that redeeming Love that the Savior has for all of us that truly empowers us to do better. I love having Gospel lessons with my family, especially my kids who are learning it all for the first time. We sing together, we pray together and we read the scriptures together. We all help each other with our callings we have in church, and find ways to be a better member of our communities. Keep them safe and Keep them Strong.
