Hi I'm Odila

I grew up in Washington State on a little farm with 200 chickens. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy person, a Mexican-American, married, mother of four children, a working mother, and a student and a follower of the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I enjoy being a Mormon because it makes me feel good about who I am. It keeps me honest, and teaches me to have integrity and I feel loved all the time. It has helped me raise great children who love Jesus Christ and are good people.

How I live my faith

I volunteered for three years and was the Regional President for the Northwest Association of Special Programs. I also represented the State of Alaska for two years for 1st generation low income student. In church, I teach the toddles about Jesus Christ and his life and about living prophets. I also teach once a month in the women organization, I find this so rewarding. When the prophet said go back to school. I did. I graduated with my Masters. He said, keep learning. I did. I became certified as a Chemical Dependency Counselor and also a Behavioral Health Counselor. How grateful I am that Heavenly Father watches over my family and me.
