Hi I'm Caren

I'm a wife and mother who loves baking, being in the mountains, and experiencing other cultures. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My life is simple yet joyful! I grew up in a single parent home, my dad passing away just 4 months before I was born. My mother, an amazing woman, raised 5 children on her own. We faced many trials but were able to get through them and have great happiness because we found strength in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am now a mother myself and I love being at home with my two young boys. My favorite things to do with them are wrestle, read books, watch them learn new things, go on walks, and teach them about their Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this Church is His, our Savior's. It is patterned exactly after the church He established when He was here on earth, as we read about in the Bible. It contains all the truth we need in order to return to Him again. And... it makes me happy! I find great peace as I learn more about His gospel and try my best to live those teachings in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by honoring my commitments. I try to serve those in need around me. I pray each day and take time to study the Savior's words in the scriptures. I am not perfect in all of this but I do my best. I live my faith by serving in my local congregation as a Visiting Teacher in the women's organization of the church called the Relief Society. As a Visiting Teacher I visit 4 sisters in my neighborhood each month to share a message about Christ and make sure they are doing alright in their different lives. I have become friends with these incredible women and they strengthen me!
