Hi I'm Val Seeley

I'm a Mormon. I enjoy the outdoors and working with troubled teens/families. We have two daughters who make me smile every day.

About Me

Mountain biking, hiking or skiing are all long time hobbies, I recently started playing disc golf and am really enjoying it. Gardening/yard care is another hobby that keeps me grounded. Go Utes and 49ers.

Why I am a Mormon

Now that I'm older, I have some experience to draw from. I feel lucky to have the knowledge and testimony that I do. I choose to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. His gospel is one that brings happiness, stability and purpose to my life. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have come to understand true principles about our Heavenly Father's grand plan and my relationship with the Savior. I've read the Book of Mormon, I love what and how it teaches. I've prayed and asked about it's truthfulness and I have received spiritual confirmation several times.

How I live my faith

Opportunities to serve others is a big part of being a Mormon. I have worked with the youth, taught Sunday School, helped w/ finances and done missionary work. Continually caring for others in the community, not just other Mormons is not only rewarding but necessary. It's hard to be lazy as a Mormon but what you and your family get out of the service is so worth it.
