Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired father of three, have been married thirty seven years, my wife is a nurse. I am a Vietnam veteran. I worked with forest insects and diseases. I have lived in Idaho since I was twelve. I love to do gardening, work on my family history, and I raise roller pigeons. As a summer time job I do aerial survey work.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that our Heavenly Father who once had prophets on this earth would not choose to leave us alone in these later days. The faith I have of his Gospel helps me to become a better person and by being in his service and when helping those around me, I become more like him. What I believe as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that there is the plan of salvation, also known as the great plan of happiness and through the atonement of Jesus Christ we will live again with our eternal family. Have I done any good in the world today, have I helped anyone in need, have I cheered up the sad and made someone feel glad because I believe in Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by being Christ like in my thoughts and in my actions. We have just a short time while here on earth to show our Heavenly Father that we deserve to live with him after this life. I try to wake up with a smile on my face, to help my wife with the family and our home. I work in the Family History Center. I read and study the scriptures. I have helped teach Sunday School classes and work with the youth of our ward. I have also worked with the Boy Scouts of America.
