Hi I'm Bonnie

I am a Mother and Grandmother. I have done humanitarian work in Mexico and Cambodia. I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I love people and especially children. ! I guess that is why I became a Registered Nurse, a foster mother to newborns, and a mother of seven. I love to travel and learn about the cultures and ideas of others. I have done humanitarian work in Mexico and served a two year mission in Cambodia.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents divorced when I was a child and I moved with my mother to a small Utah community when she remarried. I grew up surrounded by good friends who had happy homes and caring parents. I began attending church with them and was baptized when I was eight years old. From my friends and teachers in Primary and youth classes I found out about my Heavenly Father and the Savior. I knew that I was loved by them. Through study and prayer this knowledge has grown and been confirmed in my heart. This knowledge has made all the difference in my life as I planned for my future and made choices that would bring happiness to my life.

How I live my faith

I believe all of us have a responsibility to others. The Savior set the example for us. He made no distinction between people...he served those in need. Because of this I have gone to Mexico with an organization that helped villages help themselves. We taught them how to build cisterns, loreno stoves, and plant gardens. My husband and I just returned from serving a two year mission in Cambodia. We loved the people we served. We found it the most worthwhile thing we could have done and look forward to serving again wherever we are needed. The Church has given me opportunities to grow as an individual as I have served in several callings. I have learned from this service that I have received much more than I have given. My hope is that my life and service reflects the great love and appreciation I have for my Heavenly Father and His son, my Savior, Jesus Christ.
