Hi I'm Jamie

I'm a mother of 3 boys. I love my Family. My Dad taught me to love everyone and serve everyone. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 3 young boys who I adore. I love the beach, Diet Coke and a good BBQ swim party. I run a small preschool camp 2 days a week at home. I love shopping, going to fun places to eat and hanging out with my husband. I love to travel too (if I had the time and money). I love going to cabins, watching snow fall and Christmas is my favorite time of year.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member since birth (or since my baptism at 8 years old). I remember how I felt when I stepped into the water with my dad. I remember him practicing with me and what it meant and what was going to happen. I remember how excited I was to get baptized. I remember how great I felt when he baptized me and I was clean and pure at that moment. I always want to feel that way. I love how I was taught to be a good person. To serve my neighbors. To help those in need. To pray. I love that I can pray to my Heavenly Father and know with certainty that he loves me and blesses me. I want to always live my life so I can feel the presence of the Holy Ghost. I want to receive the blessings that were promised to me if I lived my life righteous. Being a Mormon has been the most positive thing in my life. I love telling people I am a Mormon. It brings me such joy. I am amazed at the history of His church and the people who have lived before me to bring me His Gospel. I'm honored to be a member and I hope to always show how much it means to me by helping those and loving everyone. I know this is the true church. I feel it inside. I could never deny it. I will always try to live righteously so I can return to my Father in Heaven with Honor. So I can live in his presence once again with all my loved ones who have passed away before me. I hope to raise my children in the Gospel and teach them to love and serve as much as my parents have taught me.

How I live my faith

One way that I live my faith is by serving in the Nursery in my church. I help make sure our youngest members ages 18months to 4 years get the love and care they need during 2 of the 3 hours of church. I make sure teachers are there to lovingly welcome the children in and give them a small lesson about Jesus, sing songs and have a fun time. I love doing this at church. I've always been a teacher and I'm happy to be a part of the Primary program in my ward. I'm so happy to attend an hour of listening to a teacher give a lesson on her faith in Jesus and how I can better myself daily and things I can do to help serve others in our Relief Society meeting. I hope I can always improve myself by serving others in any way I can. I always believe in treat others the way you would like to be treated. Never judge, never talk bad about others and always be willing to help those in need.
