Hi I'm Page

I served a two year mission in Utah, and Idaho, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Hunting and fishing are my biggest hobbies. I like to travel to places that I have never been. My family is real close. We like to go camping on our local river. I also am into sports, and enjoy the competetion that it brings out in people. My wife and I are expecting a little girl in December and we can't wait for her to get here.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS Church. Most of my family are Mormons. For a long time I just went to church because that is what was expected of me. My mom is a convert to the church and she always encourged my sister and me to gain a testimony for ourselves. I always felt the church was true but couldn't say that I knew it was true like my parents. When I was 15 a young man was taught the disscussions by the missionaries in our home. The missionaries asked him to pray about the Prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon right then. We all knelt down and started praying, and when it was my turn I could hardly speak because of the strong sense of truth that I was feeling. I recieved an answer to my prayers that night and will be eternally grateful for those missionaries asking that young man to pray with us that night. I often remember that prayer and helps strengthen me when things are tough. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today, and I know this without a shadow of a doubt!

How I live my faith

Living in a small community and being a Mormon means people are always watching you. Mormons tend to stick out. I don't drink sweet tea and alchol, and avoid tobbacco products. While at work I try to keep my words and actions clean. As the Ward Mission Leader in the Bristol Ward it is my responsibility to help the missionaries spread the gospel. This means going with them to appointments and sharing my testimony with my friends.
