Hi I'm Stuart

I'm the first Mormon in my family.

About Me

I was born and bred in South Wales where I joined the Church at the ripe old age of 19. After moving to Surrey, England and starting my own little family, we moved back to South Wales after a decade. I used to DJ regularly but hung up my headphones for more quality time with my girls although I get the itch for a mix occasionally. Now I spend my days as a Digital Marketer and as an volunteer Bishop in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was first introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while I was dating a 'Mormon' girl at college. Although it took me a while to pluck up the courage to step foot in church, I eventually did it. Her family and the people I met there were very kind and caring and after some and many visits with the missionaries I committed to baptism and haven't looked back since. It took me a lot of courage in the face of resistance even from my own family, but I know my decision was the right one and the Lord gave me the strength I needed to overcome the adversary. Being a Mormon means everything to me, as I try my hardest to live the standards the church teaches I can see the difference it makes in my life and of those around me, it has given me hope and direction.

How I live my faith

On the outside I am no different to any other person on the street, but I feel the principles the church has taught me allow me to have a very positive outlook on life. I try and help people in whatever way I can, and get stuck in at church helping organise activities for members of all ages, teach the little kids, youth and adults, visit families at home and help them however I can.
