Hi I'm Tiffani

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, wife, and a mother. I love to quilt, scrapbook, cook, spend time with family and friends. I have been divorced, but recently remarried to a wonderful man.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to born into a Latter Day Saint family. As a young child I attended church every Sunday and was given the foundation of the church. As I entered into my teenage years my parents divorced. This was a difficult time and as I got older I quit going to church. And although I quit going to church the foundation was still there. As I got into my early twenties and began to have a family of my own I knew that I needed to go back. I went and was welcomed with open arms. As I have watched my children learn the same basic principles I am so thankful to know that they have a good foundation. Life is difficult and the challenges that we face today are great. The strength that I gain from my Heavenly Father and the knowledge of his plan for us is sometimes the only thing that gets me through a difficult situation. I have a dear friend who is not a member of the church, we both were faced with a similar challenge in our lives, I turned to my faith, to my church, to my Heavenly Father. She found a different outlet! I have since seen the blessings of the challenges I faced. My dear friend is still struggling! Others have asked me how I did it. I know that without my Heavenly Father and his plan I would not be where I am today! Being a Mormon is a wonderful thing.

How I live my faith

It is easy to live my Faith! There is something to be said about service. Mormons are full of it. When I go to church I look up at the pulpit and see my Bishop who is not paid by our tithes, but donates his time! I watch my kids participate in activities that have been planned by those donating their time. I enjoy teaching Sunday School to children and taking time to prepare a lesson so that I can help them create a foundation in their lives. I have reaped the rewards of great church members who brought meals to me and helped with my three young children while I was on bed rest for 4 months with my fourth child. I now have the opportunity to help others and "pay it forward." At home I pray with my family every day. We read scriptures and discuss how they apply to each one of us in our daily lives. We use these to strengthen us individually and as a family. We sit down as a family for mealtimes. We turn off the TV and use this time to catch up on each of our lives. Once a week we hold our Family Home Evening. This allows us to spend time as a family, strengthening our bonds and reinforce the things we teach in our homes. We pay our tithing, first thing, before anything else, every month. Even under the difficult financial times we face it is never a challenge. When we do what we are commanded our Heavenly Father has promised us he will provide. And He does!
