Hi I'm Jeff

I grew up in Lewiston, Idaho. I am a funeral director and business owner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was baptized into the church when I was 14 years old. It wasn't until I was in my early 20's and in the Air Force, that I developed my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I met and married my wife and we have eight children. The gospel presents us with great teaching opportunities for our children, especially in this world today. Our home is the best place to teach our children about Jesus and his teachings.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church is true and more importantly, that we have a living prophet on the earth today just like in bible times. Each of us has to come to that knowledge regardless of being members all our lives or just joining the church. We have a Father in Heaven that loves us so much that he sent His son to be the Savior of the world. With that knowledge, I am so grateful to my brother, Jesus Christ, who gave of His life freely that I might return back into His presence.

How I live my faith

With my family, we have family prayer and scripture study. On Monday evenings we try to do things together as a family or have a lesson centered on Jesus Christ and His teachings. This is a night that we spend together, without the television or outside influences. I am a hometeacher and visit four families of our ward every month. I make sure that their needs, both physically and spiritually are met. I also serve as the ward mission leader. I work closely with the full time Elders assigned to our ward as well as other ward missionaries teaching and sharing the gospel in our area.
