Hi I'm Bobbie

I'm a Mormon. And I'm goofy.

About Me

I am a recent convert into the LDS church. I was baptized in June 2011. I have 2 kids ages 3 and 2 and I am happily married. I just got my first calling into Primary teaching the 5 year olds. I am a goofy person who loves to smile and laugh. I love to help others in any way I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Back in 2007 I married into a Mormon family. I was immediately welcomed and felt as though i was part of the family. I looked around at how nice everyone was. How family oriented the church was. This last year I realized how much I wanted that for my kids. I wanted a strong foundation they could grow on and continue to learn from. As our ward missionaries started coming over for lessons I saw how warm and inviting they were, as well as excited to teach me everything they knew. They taught with such conviction. We had a hard life. Granted not as hard as some, but difficult none-the-less. As we started attending church I noticed things were not getting easier, but we were able to deal with problems better. I am glad I became a member of the church. It is teaching me so much and I continue to learn through my everyday life.

How I live my faith

I just received my first calling in the Primary. I have to say that this is a great thing for me. Not only am I helping to teach these kids about the gospel, I am learning it myself.

Are Mormons Christians?

Bobbie
Have you ever heard a Mormon pray? We end our prayers with "And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." If that is not Christian then what is? Show more Show less
