Hi I'm Devin Bodhaine

I'm from North Carolina, I love all sports, mostly basketball (go Heels). Plautz is the Man. I'm tall, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Early one morning near the end of July, A little boy was born to goodly parents in a hospital room in Utah. Over the Next twenty years that boy would grow very large in stature. Now as a 6'7" 20 year old I am loving life and serving the Lord as a missionary. I love serving the lord in the Nevada Reno Mission and helping invite other people to come unto Christ. While not serving a mission, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing all types of sports (mostly basketball, baseball, football, quiditch...if there is a ball involved I will play it.) I love speniding time hanging out with my friends and going to waffle house around three in the morning. I also enjoy long walks on the beach at sunset. My favorite food is cereal... I dream of a world where my entire pantry is covered with cereal of all types. I want to play basketball after my mission and have no idea what else I want to do. I love My family with all my heart and they have helped my grow so much physically (they fed me plant feed) and spiritually.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and have always been active. At times it has been difficult. During High school where i was the "mormon kid" it was even more difficult. I was always struggling to fit in with people and trying to be everyones friend but i really wasn't very happy. I would say when I really committed to living the gospel was one summer at a youth camp. My best Friend and I were talking in the bedroom all night about things that have helped us become great friends and how important this gospel really is to us. I decided that night to turn it up and really start living what I believed. I am living the gospel to its fullest and I have never been happier. Serving a mission In the desert is hot and tiresome but it is worth it.!

How I live my faith

I invite other people to come unto Christ by helping them recieve the restored Gospel by having faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Recieving the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. I tell others what i believe everyday and stand tall to help lead others unto perfection through Christ

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Devin Bodhaine
As Missionaries we help you strengthen your relationship with your Heavenly Father. We talk about how the Church and Gospel that Jesus Christ established has been restored to the earth, why that is important and how you can know for yourself of these things. We also talk about God's plan for us and our Families and how we can return to live with Him again. We invite you to do things that will bring you closer to Christ and feel His love more abundantly in your life such as;Reading from the Book of Mormon and the Bible, Coming to Church, living God's commandments, and praying and asking God to know the truth of this message.
