Hi I'm Kayla

I was born and raised in South Africa and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Being born in South Africa, I absolutely love to travel! I also love photography and I'm a big shopper! I recently graduated from high school and although I loved my high school years, I am so excited for the many exciting adventures that will be presenting themselves to me in the near future. I love to be around children so I plan on studying something to do with children; possibly a teacher, PA in Pediatrics or something in that line.

Why I am a Mormon

I do not know where I would be without this Gospel. I have found out for myself that this church is true. I know that it was restored by Joseph Smith, who was called by our Heavenly Father to bring the gospel back to the Earth. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and I know that every word in the Book of Mormon was written by true prophets who were called of God. I know that by studying the scriptures and following the guidance of our Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and our other leaders, we can return to our Heavenly Father again one day. I have a strong testimony of our Heavenly Father's love for us. I know for a fact that He knows us all by name. He knows what we like, don't like, what we need in life, our strengths and our weaknesses. He will never do anything that isn't for our good. I know that our Heavenly Father will give us trials and although they may be hard and tough, they are for our good and they will strengthen us in the long run! I know that if we trust in the Lord, He will bless us tremediously! I know that we can pray at anytime and anywhere and our Heavenly Father will hear us and answer our prayers. He gave us this Gospel so that we can return to Him again. Being Mormon is not only my religion, it is my lifestyle. And I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I dress, speak and act modestly. I try my best to following the teachings and guidance of my leaders. I love to share my testimony of this church with others and I love it when people ask me questions. Lately I have had the opportunity to teach the 4 year old children in my ward. They are just adorable and to see them grow, is such a blessing to me. I have also grown spiritually, just by teaching them. Being their teacher is a blessing in my life!
