Hi I'm Mario

I love to go on hikes, I love the outdoors and sports, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church. I grew up not really knowing a lot about Jesus Christ, but ever since I met the church and joined it, all that has changed. I was baptized when I was 13 years old, along with my mother. Not everyone in my family are members, but I look forward to helping my loved ones learn about the Gospel. I am from a family of 4. Only my oldest sister, my mom, and I are members of the church. I am currently on a Mission--Nevada Las Vegas Mission--and I love it! I graduated from High School and and I've done 1 year of school in college. Some of my favorite things to do are: read the scriptures of course, I enjoy running 1/2 marathons, I love latin music, dancing, watching soccer, playing raquetball, mathematics, helping others, and many more things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized because my mother was baptized. I had no testimony at first, but eventually I gained a testimony thanks to all the help many great members of the church gave me. In the church, I was able to meet great people whom have become great friends. I have always felt the love of the members as I have participated in the church. Also, I have a testimony of the doctrine. I know it's true. It all makes sense. It was hard to accept the Book of Mormon, the prophet Joseph Smith, and other things at first, but as I read, pondered, went to church, and prayed about the veracity of the Book of Mormon, I soon gained a testimony through the Holy Ghost that it was true. I am so convinced that this church is true that I have decided to serve the Lord and serve a mission. I am currently in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission and have faithfully served for fourteen months. The Gospel has changed my life for the better.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the "manner of happiness," as 2 Nephi 5:27 says. I love participating in the church and helping others. I know the Gospel has blessed my life, so this is why I try to help others learn about and participate in the church and its activities.
