Hi I'm Nyal

I'm a missionary. I'm a brother. I'm a biker, surfer, and longboarder And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah, but my family and I moved to Mesa Arizona when I was still a little guy. I claim Arizona and really love it there. Right now, however, I am a missionary for this, the Church of Jesus Christ, and would not trade it for anything! I was called to serve in Louisiana, USA. Everything I do is to help others come unto Christ through His Gospel; restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith and found in the Book of Mormon and Bible.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found here all the things that I want in life; A living and stong relationship with my Savior, strong family values, and the Authority necessary to pepetuate family relationships. I have come to know all this is here because I have spent much time seaching the scriptures and asking God if this is where He would have me be. I know God has answered me. He told me through the Holy Ghost that this is where He wants me. It's awesome!!

How I live my faith

I live my life by simply living the Gospel of Jesus Christ; Faith, Repentance, Baptism, The Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the End. Faith in Jesus Christ through prayer, study, and pondering. Repentance by correcting the mistakes I make and seeking forgiveness from our Father in Heaven. Baptism by living up to the covenant I made at baptism and by partaking of the Sacrament weekly. Reciving the Holy Ghost by keeping God's commandments and seeking revelation from God to help my in my day to day and major decisions. Enduing to the end by doing my best to become a diciple of Jesus Christ.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Well, the Prophet of God on the earth today is named Thomas S. Monson. He has been, "called of God, as was Aaron" to teach us how to follow Christ in this day and age. I am so grateful God loves us enough to choose a man to show us the way back to him in the midst of all these tantalizing temptations in this day. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Basically, it is a whole ton of fun. Why, because we see things in a way that everything we do, ideally, should bring us closer to God. For example: My family and I surf. It is a blast. Not, in and of itself, really an activity that brings us closer to God. But, my parents understood that the Gospel of Jesus Christ would. So, while on the beach, or paddling out, or making the trek from Mesatown to Newport, we would have coversations about the Savior. I know that I want my family to return to live with God again, so I will teach my children the Gospel of Jesus Christ as my parents did. How? by having fun. Doing things as a family that bring us closer together and closer to God. Show more Show less

What is the Law of Chastity?

The Law of Chastity is my favorite. It is a commandment from God that states that the powers of Procreation should ONLY be utilized within the sacred bonds of marriage. This means no sex, at all, before we are married. It is a blessing really, one that keeps us from immense emotional, and even physical harm. You know how parents always know what is best, and what can hurt their children the most? God, as the perfect parent, knows that having sexual relations before marriage will, not might, hurt us more than just about anything. So, in essence, by commanding us to live the Law of Chastity, God is commanding us not to hurt ourselves. Sweet, huh? Show more Show less
