Hi I'm Zac

I'm a country boy living in a big city. I'm conservative, an accountant, and enjoy spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the church, grew up on a potato farm in Idaho, played basketball and football for my high school, served a two year mission for the church in central England, sold everything from retail clothing to auto parts, graduated university with degree in Accounting, managed an income tax office for 2 years, prepared income tax returns for 4 years, and took a job as an accountant for a large corporation. I like basketball, politics, spending time with my wife and sons.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I know the Book of Mormon is a another record written by prophets of God who testified of Jesus Christ before he came to earth. I prayed about it after I read it and know that the man who translated this book with no education was God's chosen prophet. He was given priesthood authority by Jesus to reorganize the same church he originally set up with 12 apostles. This authority has been passed from this man to the leadership of this church today. All religious faiths have some truth to them, but lack the authority to baptize which is necessary to live with Jesus again. I am also comforted in knowing that the marriage with my wife is for "all eternity" rather than "til death do us part". I have seen the teachings of this church bless my life as well as others I have known. Addictions have been overcome, the sick have become healed, and impossible weaknesses have become strengths. I have come to know that when I live the teachings of this church, I feel eternally happy.

How I live my faith

I am an active participant in my local congregation in the south Denver area. Currently, I serve in a leadership role for multiple congregations of young men in the Denver area. I also provide service to the community, share my beliefs with others, and teach my family how to love and live the gospel of Jesus Christ.
