Hi I'm Alexa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's Degree in English. I now work as an editor, and I love to cook, read, and attempt at being crafty. We're still working on that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS faith, and it has been a tremendous blessing in my life. I have studied the Book of Mormon throughout my life, and I know it to be true. I love how I feel when I read it, and I notice the immense blessings that come into my life from studying this amazing book. Being able to communicate with my Heavenly Father through prayer allows me to know that He is listening to me, that He loves me, and that He has a plan for me. I love that we believe that families are eternal, and I know it to be true. I am so excited to have my parents, siblings, and my own future family with me for eternity. The temple is such an important part of the gospel, and I am so grateful for the sacred ordinances that happen in the temple. I know our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, communicates with the Lord, and I know that he is an inspired man. The Church is true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each day to do my best. I make Scripture study, prayer, and temple attendance a priority. I attend church regularly, and I am an active member in my ward. My calling involves working with the sisters in my Relief Society, and I love every minute of it. The sisters are truly a special part of the gospel.
