Hi I'm Mark

I live in Colorado. I am a Husband, a Father and an Orthodontist. I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love living in Colorado and enjoying the beauty of God's creations every single day of my life. I spend as much time as I can outdoors with my family. We enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, backpacking, camping, swimming, golfing, and just being together. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 17 years and we have 5 awesome children. We recently had our 5th child, seven years after our fourth. He is such a blessing to our family and we are so grateful the Lord sent such a special child to our family. My day job is an Orthodontist. I love the privilege I have to interact with so many amazing people each day. It's a thrill for me to be a part of changing peoples lives every day and see their self-esteem grow

Why I am a Mormon

There are very few things in my life that the Lord has blessed me with that will endure forever, and that I can call my own. One is my persoanl relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. The other is my eternal marriage to my wife and the promise of having my family together forever. Everything else in my life is the Lord's - possessions, money, time - it's all His. It just so happens that greatest happiness in my life come from these two blessings. A prophet in the Book of Mormon taught us that "men are that they might have joy!" There is no greater joy for me than to be in His service and to spend time with my family. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has the authority within it to allow me to enjoy these blessings forever. I know I can be with my family forever. What more could I want? I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He died for me. I know that He lives and that He loves me. His endless mercy gives me strength everyday of my life. At the end of the Book of Mormon we are promised, "Yes, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; ...and love God with all your might, mind, and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that ny his grace ye may be perfect in Christ." He is my hope and I love Him with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I believe that we are here on earth to learn to help each other have "joy" and to learn to be more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. I do my best to treat other people as He would treat them. As I do this and serve others, I grow closer to Him and my relationship with Him grows stronger and my love for Him deepens. I believe we have been blessed with families to help us learn these principles. I learn so much as I try to help others. This creates a greater desire in me to serve others and be more Christ-like.
