Hi I'm Blaine

I'm a chemical engineer from New York now relocated to Colorado and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of five and a grandfather of two. I collect coins, garden and enjoy hiking and camping in the great outdoors. I enjoy keeping an attractive yard and fixing things around the house.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both converted to the Mormon Church, but I am a Mormon because I have lived the principles of the Gospel and found that they are scripturally based and bring peace and joy into my life. Because I have put these principles to the test I know that they are good and true. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life. I know that he lives and is my Savior. I am so grateful for the many blessings he has brought into my life.

How I live my faith

First and foremost the teachings of Christ are practiced every day in my family interactions. I also work with the teenagers in our congregation and get to help with their activities, lessons, Scouts and camps. It is a joy to be able to share with them the blessings the Gospel has brought into my life and to help them to understand how the teachings of Jesus are applicable in their lifes today. It is rewarding to see the strength of character amoung the young men and women that I work with. It is comforting to know that they will be the fathers, mothers and leaders of tomorrow.
