Hi I'm Kay

I am a wife, mother of 8 and a convert. I have an awesome family & incredible friends. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a strong Catholic family. I faithfully went to Mass each Sunday and religious education weekly. As a young girl, I had a strong belief in Jesus Christ. I also had an undeniable feeling that there was something more that God wanted me to know and more that He wanted me to do. I learned about the Mormon church when I was 5 years old from my best friend. I began an earnest study when I was 18 and was baptized a member a year later. Today, I am grateful and happy to say that I am a Mormon. I have a wonderful husband and 8 great kids--4 boys and 4 girls. We are a big, busy, happy family involved with music, sports, the schools, the community and all kinds of friends.

Why I am a Mormon

When I started reading the Book of Mormon, it 'felt' like God's words. As my study into the Mormon Church continued, the same warm, good feelings continued to grow inside me. Through sincere and earnest prayer, I was able to gain a knowledge that the Savior, Jesus Christ reestablished His church on the earth through a prophet.

How I live my faith

I try each day to live Christ's teachings. I am a full time mother and have a lot of opportunities to serve. My husband and I pray with our family each day, we study the scriptures, we serve together and play together. Although we are far from perfect, we love one another and are committed to God and each other. In addition to living my faith with my family, I teach the youth at church on Sundays.
