Hi I'm Sarah

I am a stay at home mom, a pianist, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am mom of a busy 2-year old daughter. I stay at home and teach piano while my husband works. I love playing the piano, sewing, knitting, reading, and being with my family. I still watch Saturday morning cartoons, at least to decent cartoons. I lost my dad when I was 15 and have learned to live on a small income. I love helping my family bottle food every fall. The simple things in life bring me the greatest pleasures.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Ghost tell me on a number of occasions that what I know is true. I grew up in the church, so my conversion came line upon line. I continue to grow my testimony, seeking learning from God. The scriptures confirm everything I believe. When I am living righteously, I feel better than when I choose wrong. I am a Mormon because I know the sealing power is here again on the earth and through it, I can live with my family again after I die.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by regularly reading scriptures and praying. I do my Visiting Teaching each month, by visiting other women in my ward and helping out when I can. I make meals for families and partake in service activities arranged by the ward. I work with the children in my ward by playing the piano when they sing. When the women have activites, I make time to go to them and enjoy the time togther. I try to be an example to those around me and follow the commandments.
