Hi I'm Tareasha Salinas

I was born into the church. My ancestors went through many trials to become members of the church. I'm a wife, mom, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a convert who had a daughter before we married. I have raised her since she was 2. We now have a total of 4 children. I am a homemaker and I am attending school to obtain my BA in Photography. I was born into the church. My parents and my paternal grandparents are active in the church. I am the oldest child of 8 children and at this time I am the only active member. My children are wonderful and love the youth programs, primary, and nersury. They all have such wonderful spirits and strong testimonies. I am so greatful for the church and my Savior in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was one of those teenagers who leaned on my parents testimonies. When I was 17 I decided to seek out answers for myself. I asked the questions and prayed to feel the spirit to know what was true. I recieved a patriarchal blessing when I was 19. I felt the spirit so strongly at that time telling me the truthfulness of the things the patriarch was telling me. I was so filled with the love of the Savior, that he knew me, my trials, and my purpose. I recieved personal revelation in my life to coinside with my patriarchal blessing. In my life through tragities and pain, Heavenly Father has been a constant in my life and has neverwaivered in the truthfulness of this gospel. I know with all my fiber that Joseph Smith restored the true church upon the face of this earth, that we are in the fullness of times, and that there is a true and living prophet on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I have made a commitment to read the Book of Mormon by the end of the year as challenged by our bishop, I am also set a goal to go to the temple for the first time. I love spending time with other mothers in the ward for playdates, socializing and strengthening eachother within the church. I am only human, but I strive everyday to live as Christ would have me, and try to follow all of his teachings.
