Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a wife, a mother of four, a daughter of God, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Jennifer. I met my sweetheart in college. We were married in the Temple four years later. On our first anniversary we were blessed with our first boy, less than two years later we had our second boy and within a year and a half later we were blessed with our third boy. Life as college students was moving right along until two years later we were told our oldest little boy had cancer. Our world came to a screeching halt. During that process of biopsy after biopsy I was put into the hospital with our fourth little one (a girl :) with a devastating prognosis for me. It was then that the reality of living 3,000 miles away from family (while we were away for college) hit me. I was too young to leave my family. My little children would barely remember me. My mom immediately got on an airplane and stayed with our children for the duration. I found new meaning in the Gospel. I was healed by the Power of the Priesthood. I found gratitude in simple things like walking and watching the leaves change from my hospital window. Seven weeks later our joy was full when our little girl arrived safely. My testimony grew. My love for the Savior increased beyond measure. I found solace in knowing my Heavenly Father knew me. I will never be the same from that love and peace I discovered in the middle of a raging storm.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel. I feel so happy living it. My life is filled with peace and happiness because I know and love my Savior. I love partaking of the sacrament each week. I love knowing that when I kneel to pray my Father in Heaven hears my prayers. The Gospel is true! Living it makes me feel wonderful! I hope my children and others will always know how dependent I feel on my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I wake up everyday with an agenda: To try to be the daughter of God that I have been taught how to be. I fall short daily, but somehow I continue to receive His love and mercy. I try to be the best example I can be to my children. I fall short, I repent, I feel a renewed desire to try tomorrow.
