Hi I'm Cristin

I love to hang out with my family they are my world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom times three. My husband and I have been married for 15 years. I started taking a few college courses to get closer to a degree. I have also been learning how to play the piano, which inspired two of my children to start piano lessons. I love to scrap book. It is a fun way to preserve family history. I love the mountains and found that hiking 14ers is a thrill.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church leaning on my mothers testimony. It wasn't until I was pregnant with my second child that I found my own testimony of the gospel. I took the challenge to read the Book of Mormon in 90 days. Within those 90 days I was able to gain my own knowledge of the truth of the Book of Mormon. I felt Heavenly Fathers love for me. I feel his love every day. I Know that the Savior loves everyone. He loves me even through all my mistakes and wrong turns. I know that the attonment is for everyone and not just for our sins. I have felt the Saviors love when I struggle with depression. I know he carries me when I can not pick myself up. I gain strenghth from knowing that I am a daughter of God and He wants me to succeed in this life. My testimony strengthens when I fast and pray and when I act on the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only church with the full gospel of Christ here on this earth. I know that God speaks to us through a living prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know all these things because I have felt the warmth of the Holy Ghost tell me it is true.

How I live my faith

I love being in primary with the children they teach me so much. I often think of the Savior when he came to the Americas to visit the Nephites in the Book of Mormon it says "...he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them." 3 Nephi 17:21. The Savoir is not physically on earth today but puts us in places where He needs us to be. I also love to serve others sometimes it's a meal or maybe running errands for a sister in need.
