Hi I'm Danny

I'm a medical school student, climbing is my stress relief and I am a mormon.

About Me

I love the water, I grew up surfing and skimboarding and as I have moved farther from the ocean have grown to love kayaking and rafting. Kelsey and I have almost been married for a year. Because we met working as river guides we have been able to share a lot of time over the past three years together rafting and rock climbing. Since we have moved out to Colorado for medical school we haven't had a lot of free time but the time we do have together, we usually go exploring all the new surrounding climbing possibilities.

Why I am a Mormon

The doctrine that is taught in the LDS church makes more and more sense the more I learn about it: God did not neglect the nations of people that lived in the American continents, the Book of Mormon is their record of their interactions with Him and his gospel much like the Bible is the same for the People living in the area round about Israel. Christ set up a church while he was on the Earth which was again rejected. Like it has been before, that same church has been established on the Earth once again. Though it seems logically sound to me, that is not why I believe it. Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able deny the soft feeling that I get when I talk about it or pray about it. I just know.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best person I can. This starts for me by attending and being involved at church so that I can study Christ's life and gospel so that I can become more familiar with each. This alone does nothing until I apply it to my everyday life.
