Hi I'm Chris

I've traveled the world. I've lived across the United States. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Logan Utah, and at 19 I left to live in Romania for two years. Upon my return to the United States, I went to Utah State University and studied Political Science. After graduation I moved to Richmond Virginia for law school and recently graduated. I moved to Denver Colorado to start my life and career. I'm an avid basketball player, I love college football and basketball. My music taste tends to run punk rock, and there's nothing better than a show of my favorite band, with my best friends, in a small venue.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon by my parents, but I quickly learned that no one is born a Mormon. Everyone, whether they come from a Mormon family or not, has to at some point have a conversion moment. I have had numerous conversion moments. From the time I turned sixteen to today I've enjoyed the moments of personal revelation and spiritual promptings that come from the gift of the Holy Ghost. More than that, I am blessed with the knowledge necessary to look into the darkness and uncertainty of the future without fear or doubt. I know that as a child of God, I have His strength and his support. There is no greater happiness than knowing who you are and where you are going. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

In the Mormon church, we are blessed to serve in a number of ways: from organizing events to visiting and strengthening those in need. I was blessed to serve a full time mission in Romania for two years. This opened my eyes to the wonders of the world outside to the United States, and I fell in love with the people. I was able to teach them of the happiness I had as well as serve those that needed assistance. Since that time, I've found that service is the best way to be a Christian, to live as a Christian. I try to share the blessings, both temporal and eternal, that Heavenly Father has given me with those around me. The greatest love in my life is teaching, and there is no greater subject than the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for what can compare with with that which deals with man as he is in the eternity of yesterday, the mortality of today, and in the forever of tomorrow. Knowledge is light, and light breeds happiness and hope. Teaching, serving, and being an example is the best way to share that knowledge. That is how I live my faith.
