Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm a mom of 6 great kids. I love to read. I'm learning how to quilt. I wish I hadn't quit piano lessons. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy scrapbooking, canning my own foods, and quilting. It is very fullfilling to me to be able to finish a project and see the end result: pages in the photo albums, bottles of food on the shelf, quilts on the beds. I love being a mom and a wife. I take my camera everywhere I go. I don't want to miss any of my kids' great moments. I am blessed to be able to stay home and take care of my kids. I am able to attend their school programs, sporting events, and parent teacher conferences, I can go pick them up when they call home sick. It isn't always easy raising 6 kids, but every hug, every smile, every "Mom, I need you" makes it worth it.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a "Mormon" because both of my parents are. I remain a "Mormon" because I have had too many miracles in my life to deny that God lives. I know He knows me. I know He is aware of the struggles I have. I know He wants me to be happy. I remain a "Mormon" because I love the teachings of the LDS Church. And I want my kids to live them. I want them to serve others, to attend church, to be respectable citizens of society, to believe in God and rely on Him. And I know that following these teachings truly does make you happy and bring you peace.

How I live my faith

I am the leader for the girls ages 8-11. We have activities 2 times a month. Through these activities we hope the girls learn more about the church and Heavenly Father, more about serving others, more about believing in themselves, and how to someday be a great mom. I think I learn as much from them as they do from me.
