Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Zimbabwe. I served an LDS mission in Southern France and studied in the USA. I am an electrical engineer at Intel.

About Me

I am very happily married and have 3 children ages, 13 to 9 weeks. We live in Arizona which is very different to Zimbabwe. I like to do triathlon and cycling races. I also enjoy wood working and doing repairs around our home. My wife and I love to be outside and camp a lot. I work for Intel and am an analog circuit designer working on computer chip design. My wife Brittney is from Mexico and we love to go "home" to Mexico to visit her family in Colonia Juarez (Chihuahua). We were married in the LDS temple there.

Why I am a Mormon

I essentially grew up in the church (my mother is a member) but over time have developed my own firm convictions. I'm a Mormon (or a Latter Day Saint) because I believe Jesus Christ and all he has offered me. I accept His Prophet on the earth today as His appointed representative. Having a living prophet in these times who can receive the Lord's direction and teach me is very important to me. I'm a Mormon because of the revealed instructions from God delivered by his prophet and apostles. Also, because of the Book of Mormon which I know is another testament (along with the Bible) of the divinity and role of Jesus Christ. The Mormon (or LDS) church is Jesus Christ's church on the earth today and its leaders hold the authority to act in the name of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus Christ and living his teachings and commandments. I strive to do this everyday and with everyone I meet. I try to exercise Charity and love everyone as Christ loves them. I repent when I make mistakes and believe that I can be forgiven through the Savior. I keep the promises I have made to God and my family and treat my marriage as sacred. My wife and children only come second to my relationship with Jesus Christ. I try to look at the bright side of things, and treat others as I would like to be treated.
