Hi I'm Corrine

I Grew up in Arizona, where I still live today. I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a single family home with one younger brother and I was lucky enough to have my mother stay at home with us until I was a Senior in High School. I went to Cosmetology school after I graduated and finished by the time I was 19. After being involved in some car accidents I am no longer able to practice my field and am currently disabled at a young age. Instead of having a hard time with it, I take it with stride and let each day be a new day, a new experience. I take time to serve others who may need help, read or catch up on news. One of the best things I found to do was to blog, I found a great love for writing down my thoughts and journey's for others. I still love movie and game nights and catching up with friends when I can!!

Why I am a Mormon

There have been many moments in my life where I have faced difficult challenges and didn't know quite what to do anymore. Last year I hit that particular low and really didn't know what I was going to do. I think I finally got to the point where I had to put all the trust I had grown up with in my Heavenly Father that he could help me, and help me make the right choices in my life. A year later my life has changed so drastically I couldn't be happier. Both my parents were converts to the church, and as far back as we can tell the only members in our family history. I am the first to be raised in the church. My brother has since made other choices. I have had so many countless blessings throughout my life by following the teachings I was raised with. It wasn't anything I ever questioned growing up, it made sense to me. Sometimes as we get older and face harder times we need to ask questions and that's what I did. After searching in my mind and inquiring, I read the Book of Mormon and actually took the challenge myself to find out the truthfulness of it myself. I prayed to my Heavenly Father and asked for an answer. I knew in my heart and mind that it was the truth. I can testify that this is the one and only true church on this earth and Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet among us. He receives revelation from our Heavenly Father and is a truly inspired man. Joseph Smith was an amazing man and a prophet who received revelation and translated the book we have now. We wouldn't be where we are without all these men now. I encourage you to feel of the love and ask the same questions of our Heavenly Father that I did, so you may feel of the same spirit as well.

How I live my faith

I currently have 2 callings in my ward which are- Family Home Evening Committee ( in a singles ward we meet together as a family, have a lesson and an activity after) I help plan the activities. I also am an Indexer (indexers work on old records from around the world for geneology). I also participate in visiting teaching (visiting other sisters in the ward with a partner).
