Hi I'm Rhonda K.

I grew up in a blended family. I've been a nanny by profession. I have a degree in political science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people. That's my hobby. Doing good and being a friend. I love to dance and take road trips with my family and friends. I've been accused of joining people's familes. I studied at UNLV and then completed my education at BYU-Hawaii. I love being a beach bum with a good book. I have the attitude that to bring change in the world it begins with me. My titles include daughter, aunt, great aunt, sister and greatest of all friend. I am still on my way and trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a home that celebrated Jewish holidays and went to church on Sunday. My mom converted to the LDS faith after having her questions answered by my dad, while they were dating and recieving the missionary discussions. My family was split on their religious views but I always had a sure understanding that there was a Heavenly Father who loved me. I grew up being taught the gospel as it was restored and it all clicks together. It's everything at your finger tips just waiting to be explored. I have had many spiritual confirmations that have brought me assurances of the truth of message that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shares. After serving a full time mission for the church I have come to realize the power, peace and belonging that comes from knowing truth and acting upon it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being me. I love to do service. If you want to get to know someone work along side them. I have been privileged to teach 2-5 year olds, to teach Sunday School to my college peers, and to clean the church building. I love being active in my community and finding local ways to serve. I've loved serving in presidency postions in my extracurricular organitions. I also live my faith by letting others know that I am a Mormon and that they can 'talk story' with me and that my life is hopefully an example of what I believe.
