Hi I'm Austine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father of three. I have seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. I served in the army before and during the Vietnam conflict. I consider myself to be a black American. I also have European and Native American ancestors. I am retired. I was a superviser in the electric utility industry. I enjoy painting landscapes, portraits in oil, water color and acrylic. I work out six or seven days a week and I enjoy exercising.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon (Latter-day Saint) because I know that this is the true church of God. The church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints is organizied much in the same way the ancient church was organized with prophets to lead and guide us. I know that the gospel brought forward thru the translations of Joseph Smith is another testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ and that the family is so important in the plan of salvation.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by daily prayer and scripture study. I look for ways to proclaim the gospel to others. I also look forward to helping ( and I do) those in need of spiritual or temporal uplifting. I attend church regularly and I support my church leaders in helping others.
