I am an Eagle Scout, an Idahoan, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a smallish town in south-eastern Idaho. I love the Boy Scouts of America and the out doors. Scouting is something that has brought me and my family close, particularly my two little brothers and I. Right now I am serving of the greater San Antonio and Austin areas as a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to serve a mission at a very young age. My mom would always tell us that she was preparing us to share the gospel and to be missionaries. In order to know that a mission was something I needed to do I started studying, pondering, and praying about my decision to serve a mission. As I prayed I knew the truths in the Book of Mormon, Bible, and the teachings of the Church were true. Knowing this helped me want to share the gospel and be a better follower of Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a MIssion for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, living What the savior taught is a daily task. I study my scriptures and pray so that I can know what the savior taught and share his gospel with everyone I meet.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

As missionaries we follow the example of the savior and help everyone. Just as he died on the cross to help the whole human family without regard to who you are or where you ccome from. We try to emulate the Savior's example. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

The reason you see young men and women knocking on doors, stopping people on the street, and offering to help you carry in your groceries. Is because they love you. They know that what they share will bless you. No matter who you are, The message of the the Restored Gospel will bless you and your family. Show more Show less

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

My Family and I celebrate the same holidays most Americans celebrate. Like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, ect. I am sure other Mormons celebrate their national holidays like we celebrate Idependance day or Labor day. I wear some nice pants and a button up shirt with a tie, when I lived in New Mexico for awhile I wore sandles instead of dress shoes Because I did not have anything else. But what you wear to church is between you and the lord. Show more Show less

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries will share a message about the restoration of the Gospel of Christ. They will invite you to do things to increase your faith in Christ like read the Book of Mormon, come to church, pray to know what they teach is true. They invite those they meet to REPENT! AND BE BAPTIZED! Show more Show less
