Hi I'm Conrad

I'm a Missionary. I'm a convert. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California, but raised in Ohio nearly all of my life. I've spent my life playing football and attending school, nothing more and nothing less. Throughout my life I have loved the game of football! Anything as simple as seeing someone at a distance wearing football pads makes me want to play the game again. Thankfully, the discipline and influence of playing football prepared me to accept the gospel at the age of seventeen and as a result, I am now serving a mission in the England London South Mission! I have no doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has changed my life and I know it is Jesus Christ's true church on the earth today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because of the love others have shown towards me. At the age of seventeen I received my first Book of Mormon and was asked to read and pray about the contents within. Because I had never prayed before, I had no intention of doing as my friends had invited me to do. As I read through the Book of Mormon (only doing so, because I promised I would) I came across a certain scripture that hit me. I had an impression to pray about what I had read and in my prayer I gained a witness of the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and to be another testament of Jesus Christ and I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be Jesus Christ's true church.

How I live my faith

Throughout the scriptures Heavenly Father has asked us two favours: to follow Him and to serve His children. As a result, I strive to serve those that are around me and I enjoy the opportunities I have to do so. Mosiah 4:21, "And now if, God, who has created you, on whom you are dependent for your lives and for all that ye have and are, doth grant unto you whatsoever ye ask that is right, in faith, believing that ye shall receive, Oh then, how yea ought to impart of the substance that yea have one to another." Along with that, I recognise my imperfections and strive to be the best example I can be towards others!
