Hi I'm Krystle

I am 25 years old, I have been married for 3 years and I have two beautiful children!

About Me

I am a mom and a wife. That is my favorite thing in the whole world! I am a big nerd, especially when it comes to Star Wars. I love music that is composed for movies and watching movies. I like to do tech work for plays and enjoy being behind the scenes. Most of all I love spending time with my husband, daughter and son.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon household, however I did come to find out the truth for myself. I read the scriptures, listened to the words of the prophets and I prayed about the gospel. I didn't receive a huge feeling, just the opposite, I felt a small warm feeling inside. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and cares for me. He has brought the gospel back to this earth through Joseph Smith. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our living day prophet who receives direct guidance from our Lord and Savior. I know these things because when I read them and hear them I feel that same warm feeling inside.

How I live my faith

I love attending church on sunday. It is a wonderful way to refuel your spirit. I love reading my scriptures everyday. It brings such a feeling of peace and warmth into my soul. One of the best things I was taught is to pray often. I have an ongoing prayer in my heart all day. When I do these simple things I feel the spirit and it helps me to keep my faith.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

The lord has given us different purposes in our lives. He has decided to have only the brethern hold the priesthood. I appreciate this because it is a tremendous responsibility. As a woman it is my priviledge to believe in the priesthood power. I know that my testimony and faith in the priesthood gives my husband the strength to hold this sacred responsibility. As women we have so many other opportunities to serve the lord without having to hold the prisethood. We give help to those in need and our efforts bless them. As a sisterhood we have the ability to know when someone is in need of help and we come to their aide quickly. You do not need the priesthood to help others, just love and compassion. Everyone has the ability to help, but I feel that women adhere to these qualities with a better understanding. Show more Show less
