Hi I'm Amy

I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, friend and a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California and have lived in Washington State and am now in Midvale, UT. I have 6 siblings, with whom I am very close, 5 nephews and 2 nieces! Learning is important to me. I've worked in education all of my life, first as high school teacher and now in adult education. I love being creative in a variety of ways with a variety of mediums including writing, music, drawing, paper crafts and fabric. I love car racing and all things mathematical.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because it is Lord's chosen delivery method for the complete gospel. Truth is truth, wherever you find it. There is truth in every spiritual path I am familiar with. And I am constantly amazed by the Christ-like things people of all faiths do. But, I have come to know that the complete truth, the complete knowledge of God's plan for his children is found here, in the Mormon church.

How I live my faith

The most important aspect of living my faith is daily diligence. There are so many distractions in life that pull me a million directions. What keeps me grounded are the things I do daily to live my faith. They include reading my scriptures, praying to my Heavenly Father and being kind to everyone I meet. I'm not perfect at it, but it is the daily diligence that help me.
