Hi I'm Mary

I love Our Savior Jesus Christ and want to do his will.

About Me

I like to water ski. I was a CAD Drafter for Civil Engineers for 15 years. Now I teach 17 year olds in Sunday School, and I'm a phlebotomist. Once apon a time I had 3 babies in diapers, then Those babies grew and for a time, they were all on missions at the same time. I love being a grand mother (Gramie).

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, and have had many conformations from the comforter (the holy ghost) that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is true; all of it. The LDS church has at it's core the true plan of happiness, and Jesus is the only way by which we can be saved. These are things that somehow have been written on my heart. I've learned that even people that were born into the church have a "conversion" story. Mine is quite plane and simple, kind of hear a little and there a little. I've come to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is perfect, but the members of the church are not. My goal is to someday, be tucked safely in my grave with my testimony burning brightly.

How I live my faith

I like to set Sunday apart, by not doing the ordinary weekday activity's like going to movies, shopping, or swimming. It's nice to have my house clean on Saturday night so that Sunday feels more sacred. I teach Sunday School every other Sunday. I team teach, so we get two weeks of preparation instead of just one. I have a condition that prevents me from eating anything with wheat in it, so I bring a small piece of rice bread each week for my sacrament. I love singing hymns with the rest of the congratulation.
