Hi I'm Rachel

I am a wife to a creative and amazing man. I am the mom of 2 amusingly amazing, and amazingly amusing daughters. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother. I love art, music, reading, and being outside. I am a perpetual student in everything. I want to know more, learn more, and do more. I am constantly being amazed by the knowledge and abilities of others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. It hasn't always been as strong as it is now. Through my life it has grown step by step. Some of those steps were more leaps and bounds, while others were tiny steps. I am profoundly grateful for the testimony that I can call my own. This is Christ's church, he leads us today, just as he did while he was on the earth. I believe that our Heavenly Father, and his son Jesus Christ appeared to the young boy Joseph Smith ushering in the dispensation of the fulness of times. I believe that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet of God, and all the prophets of this church were likewise called of God. I am grateful for the prophets and their guidance, leadership, and service. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. I can testify of the truthfulness of the words written on the pages of this book. I have prayed seeking if these things are true and I can never deny the answer I have been given. When I read The Book of Mormon everyday I am given strength. I feel the spirit stronger with me and in my home. I am given understanding, not all at once, but as I continue to read, these truths that are written are opened up to me and bless my life. I have a testimony of the guidance and comfort of the Holy Ghost that I was given at my baptism. As my testimony grows I am able to hear that promptings and feel the presence of The Spirit more. Because of this I am able to better understand what My Heavenly Father wants me to do while I am here on earth. I want to be what he know I can become. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am working with the Young Women of our ward. I help teach them, and work with other Young Women leaders to guide these girls who are seeking the answers to the big questions in life, and I am grateful that because of The Book of Mormon and our Church Leaders I am able to confidently answer their questions and help give them the strength they need to face the trials and hardships of being a teenager out in the world. They are amazing and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with them. I am a visiting teacher. I visit other women in our ward once a month share a spiritual message and help them out with anything they need. Everyday as a women, as a wife, and as a mother I rely on my Faith to get me through each and every day. I am supported by my Heavenly Father and his love carries me through whatever life wants to throw at me.
