Hi I'm Stephanie

I am the mother of two angles and am married to the man of my dreams. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two - a boy and a girl. My husband and I were married in October 2006 and are extremely happy! My hobbies are running (marathons and many other forms of exercise), dancing, acting, singing, reading, movies and popcorn with my hubby, caring for our animals and garden, and above all...being with my FAMILY! I am currently finishing my bachelors degree (Fall 2011) in Social Science and am preparing to homeschool my kids this upcoming school year.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of my life, but I developed a sure knowledge of its truth as a youth and have continued to study the Bible and Book of Mormon ever since. I discovered through my study of ancient history, the Bible and the Book of Mormon, that the gospel of Jesus Christ makes logical sense! In addition to that I've prayed to my Heavenly Father to know if the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true, and I received a positive answer. The Chruch of Jesus Christ makes me feel happy, I feel that my life has purpose, I feel whole, comforted through times of trial, and inspired by many leaders of the Church, Thomas S. Monson (the President/Prophet)in particular. I wish for others to feel the same sense of fulfillment and joy that I feel through knowing the truth.

How I live my faith

I have held several different teaching positions in the church. I have had the opportunity to teach a few different primary age classes - 3 year olds, 8/9 year olds and 11/12 year olds. I have been able to serve with the teenage girls organization and help plan their annual girls camp - a week long camping trip that is filled with uplifting activities, service, exercise, crafts, skits, and just a lot of fun! I visit or mail letters to several women within my congregation once a month (known as the VIsiting Teaching Program) and I have learned to truly love the women that I teach! I have much to learn from each of them as they carry on through life with courage, faith and optimism. I love meeting with my "visiting teachee's." I love to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with people I interact with by way of example, and even by sharing the Book of Mormon or my testimony when I can. I am far from perfect, and struggle with my faults daily, but the peace I have in my life because of my faith is so special to me, I feel like less of a friend if I don't share it with others. Everyone on earth is a child of God, therefore, we are all spiritual brothers and sisters, and we all had the knowledge of the truth before we came to earth. When I remind myself of that, my courage is strengthened as I share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others, my brothers and/or sisters.
