Hi I'm Brad

I was born in England. I work full time to pay my way through college. I play frisbee in my free time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attending college right now as a single sophomore. I just finished an LDS mission to Inidanapolis a little over a year ago. My hobbies for now are learning spanish and playing frisbee on my colleges team. This takes away some time from school and dating, but I do it because I enjoy it. It's a priority for me. I enjoy the exercise and it gives me something to apply myself too, a chance to work hard really. I date a bunch trying to find people I identify with that I can make laugh and cheer up. I feel like I'm a mature kid: I know when to tease and laugh and when to advize and encourage. I'm working whenever I can so that I can pay my tuition and rent, and also have some money to play around with my friends. I feel like a pretty normal kid. I like normal music that's loud or quiet but not dirty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 30 Seconds to Mars, Foo Fighters are some examples. I like normal movies that have action, drama, whatever, as long as they're not giving me sketchy ideas ya know? Inception is a favorite, Mission Impossible too, and Pursuit of Happiness also. I don't feel like an abormal person, I mean sure there's some activities I don't engage myself in, but I still have as much fun as anyone else, bet my life on it.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is just easier this way. I help myself enjoy life to the extreme by avoiding extreme problems like addictions and a child I'm not ready to take care of. I free up so much time by avoiding that junk. Because of this I do better in school, incredible in my work, and am free to do the things I really want to do. I'll be getting married sometime in the next several years. I need the help of the Lord to make sure I pick someone that will help me be my best self and that I can in turn encourage. I don't want the pain of a broken family, I've seen too much of that. God has been pretty good to me, too good really it feels like. The least I can do is live the way He wants me to and make Him happy because I'm happy.

How I live my faith

What you do when no one else is looking is a true indicator of who you are, or at least the quote goes something like that. When I play sports I feel there's no more a crucial time to be honest and kind. I don't care how honest I am 90% of the time if I can't be honest when the pressure's on. I go to lots of big crowd venues, like College athletics, and I don't think Jesus would've been insulting the Egyptian football team if they'd come to Jerusalem. I have tons of fun there but I don't feel like that fun should ever come at someone else's expense. No one enjoys being on the receiving end of that. Each day of the week, everywhere you go there's opportunities to help others be happy. I try to be aware of others more than anything else each day. How often has someone randomly made your day? I like to give...it just feels good ya know? If you want a free palm sized Book of Mormon I'm more than willing to send one to you for free. The LDS church offers free normal sized copies, but I have some new extra one's, so send me a message and I'll get one in the mail to you. Pay it forward.
